Undercutting is the single complaint raised most often by firms across the region. A contract won below cost is not won at all — it is a loss carried for a year, and it drags down the rate every other firm can quote.
This initiative is a costing study, not a price agreement. It collects anonymised data on labour, chemical, travel and overhead per service type, and publishes the ranges. What a member charges remains entirely their own decision.
Data collection begins once membership crosses its first milestone, so the sample is large enough to be meaningful.
